Spent a lovely weekend with two of my dearest friends in Dallas and thought i’d share a little about some of the food we sampled. And by sampled, I pretty much mean I gorged-on.

What I will now call “Best-Of-Dallas, Round One!”

The Pearl Cup– Hands down, best latte I have ever had in my ENTIRE LIFE, and I pretty much mainline caffeine. If you’re anywhere within 20 miles- GO THERE.

My Signature Pearl Cup Latte

Fuel City Tacos– Aside from a very strange man who wouldn’t leave us alone, the tacos were fantastic. Very Mexico City style- plain meat with onions and cilantro. Delish. May I recommend the barbacoa- my personal fav.

Four Lounge– I don’t drink much, but let me say that this may have been the most delicious and creative drink i’ve ever had. It looks like it’s going to be overly sweet, but surprise! It’s not! Very creamy and rich, but not sweet. A complete delight. BTW it’s the Creme Brulee.

Kuby’s German Sausage Factory

If you’re anything like me, sausage literally brings drool to your chin- it totally skips the mouth and somehow jumps straight onto your chin. This place was incredible. I will have pleasant dreams of sausage from this experience!

Favorites: Beer Bratwurst (I grilled mine outside), Smoked Jalapeno Cheddar (spicy but not overkill), and for a little fun I’d go with the Spicy Smoked Venison.

Toulouse– Best atmosphere by far! So adorable and SO French! Great food, good service, covered patio and dog friendly… I literally couldn’t ask for more!

French Onion Soup!

Company Cafe– We went for Brunch and it was adorable! Even in the rain the inside was full. Lots of locally grown foods and Organic Free-Range meats and eggs. I am loving it. P.S. The sweet potato hash is worth the extra $4 for a side of it. We all agreed on that!

My lovely friends!
